Highlights for Children: Subscription Box Design

Highlights offers an engaging subscription box where your child can follow characters Nick and Nack through their adventure.

Start with an engaging storybook and then bring it to life with a project, a game and a snack — all connected back to Nick & Nack's story! Crafted by childhood experts, the hands-on play helps kids make connections on their own and each box brings a new adventure to enjoy together.

While working on this project with the Highlight’s product team, concepts for each kit component were passed to me by the project manager. Then, we worked through various design iterations to refine my designs for each piece. We explored different colors, patterns, and internal components for each subscription box set.

After the team received samples from their vendors, we continued to fine-tune each box to make sure the look and function was perfected. Continue to scroll to see the final details of this activity kit!
